John Nurminen Realty, one of John Nurminen Oy’s business units, produces added value for logistics services through property ownership and development in Finland. The business unit constructs new sites and leases these to operators in the field of logistics, as well as acquiring existing buildings and developing them for the needs of today’s operations. John Nurminen Realty’s operations are based on a unique ability to combine property and logistics expertise. The most recent example is the project in Vuosaari Harbour, Helsinki.

In January 2007, John Nurminen initiated the largest construction project in its history. It started to construct a new logistics centre, a true one-stop shop of modern logistics, in Vuosaari Harbour, Helsinki. The construction work began in the summer of 2007, the foundation stone of the logistics centre being laid in September. John Nurminen Realty administrated the Vuosaari construction project until late 2008, when the finished property was transferred under the operation of Nurminen Logistics Oyj.
